Brian and Lorena Wood
We are over about 1500 churches of a denomination called Comunhao na Colheita. Our ministry is to help train the pastors and leaders of these churches. Most of them have very little education and many of the pastors do not understand basic doctrines of the faith. Because of a lack of resources, training, and confidence very few of our pastors speak every Sunday. Therefore, we not only teach the basics of faith we also teach a simplified version of inductive Bible Methods and how to teach and preach the Bible. Our vision is to train as many of these pastors as possible. We conduct seminars, give out solar Bibles that also have our courses recorded on them, and start Disciple Training Centers in key churches throughout the three provinces we are working. We also conduct evening evangelist meetings – showing the Jesus film, praying for the sick, and preaching. We currently have about fifty Discipleship Training Centers. We have printed more than 1700 training manuals and given out about two hundred solar Bibles with courses – all recorded in the local languages of the people. We are also currently the directors of Iris Ministries Dondo.
